My 2018 Resolutions: What I Want To Accomplish!

2018 resolutions

Wow I haven’t blogged for so long, I honestly don’t even know where to start. It seems like just yesterday everyone celebrated the new year with glasses of champagne, sparkle sticks and xoxo’s. But in reality, the first month of the new year is in full swing and I know I had to get back at posting sooner or later. And with January going by so fast, it has got me thinking about all the things I’m wishing to accomplish in the next series of months until the end of the year! Keep reading to find out what my 2018 resolutions are!

Be a frequent blogger

The first one is such a cliché and I probably say this every year, but I really do want to start posting more frequently. Clearly, I haven’t been feeling too inspired the past couple of months. So I’m hoping a new year also brings a fresh start for my blog with loads of cool and creative content. I’d also really like to become way more active on Instagram and create a nice and interactive following.marble flatlay

Socialize with more bloggers

And by being more active on my online platforms, I’m hoping to meet and socialize with lots of other bloggers and (micro-)influencers. Maybe organize some fun lunch meetups, have regular shoot days and just enjoy the blogging community. Who’s in?

Be more productive in the mornings

I’m nowhere near being a morning person. Never been. I’m quite the opposite actually. I am more productive at night. But the few times I surprisingly woke up early without any alarm clocks, I felt so energetic and lively that I decided to make it more of a habit this year. My days become longer and I can get more things done! Here’s to throwing myself into lots of fun projects and letting my creative juices flow.

Making new contacts for my dream career

And by being more productive overall, i’m hoping to make a dent in my long journey of acquiring my dream career! I know I want to work in fashion (which I’m sort of already doing), but I still have a long way to go. But I also want to throw my amusement for content-making and social media in the mix. So I’m looking forward to stepping it up this year and making even the smallest connections to support my career-related goals in the long run. Boss girl vibes only!

Travel to new cities

It’s just something about traveling to a new city that gives me so much joy. I especially like 2-3 day or weekend city trips. Short but sweet. Usually the tickets are cheaper, it requires less money for hotel stays and it’s easier to get off-days from work. But you still have more than enough time to explore! Milan, Lisbon, Valencia and Rome… just some cities that are high on my list of go-to’s this year! But whether I make it to these cities or not, I want to fly out to at least four different cities this year! And I want to make more of an effort to visit a range of different Dutch cities as well.

De-clutter my home

This year I really want to work on being more organized and getting rid of all the clutter in my closet and rest of my living space. I always have such a hard time parting with things that I’ve had for a while. Especially when it has some sort of sentimental value or I think it will come in handy one day. One thing I think will help me is being more strict about what to keep, what to donate and what to dump! And for whatever knickknacks I do decide to keep, I’ll just get some cute bins and boxes to stash them in. At least that way, I have something nice to look at.

Enjoy Life!

My last goal for the year, but certainly the most important one is to be truly and sincerely happy everyday. I want to carpe diem the ish out of 2018! Whether it’s getting out of my comfort zone, making opportunities happen or just going for it all.. I want no regrets.
